yes it is, I have the ecology fesitval all weekend at fairly lake so Jenn will be stressed at my absense, showing up early to run interference with the trolls would be very welcome, if you can manage it.

PostSubject: list   Thu Jun 11, 2009 7:43 am

If you could generate the loot list before hand so we can make our wish lists that would be appreciated. This would also give doug a chance to prioritize those things he would like, then you could pick for him.

Being poor Harcourt might also like the option of selling a pick so that he might shop for stuff that is not found in the loot.

So there are no screw ups, Craig and Steve, pls respond that we have an agreement on date/time and location.

Appologies for not getting the list finished tonight (poor time management). I will definitely (sp?) finish it tomorrow evening and post it here.

I'll be in the Niagara Falls area on Sunday; I should be able to drive to Newmarket later on.

P.S. The problem wasn't that the location wasn't communicated. The problem was that the location was changed.

A recap would be good. (Perhaps in a new thread; this one is getting hard to follow as it is.)

PostSubject: Recap   Fri Jun 12, 2009 11:33 am

This is not the begining of the high level guys but an impromptude housekeeping session for the low guys, town stuff, what you want to do with the down time, treassure division.

But yes a recap of the high guys will be in order for next week.

I thought part of this thread was about the high-level party:

Also much of the introductory session could be disposed of by emails, just refresh us and get Doug up to speed as to our group makeup, mission etc.
As I remember it was something about lost swords and we'd just beat up chased off some baddies on the street at night. Including a snipper mage on a roof who I believe I flew up to and smoked.

I did discuss the high guys in that passage , but the impending session this weekend is probably or at least mostly not about the high guys because he wants doug there for the inagural session.

And by the way no one has voted yet on do we start the high guys from scratch or from the encounter I remember. Me I don't care but it's probably better for Doug if we start from the begining.

We should also give Harrison a courtesy call that a new game is starting soon.

Just go ahead and make a new catagory for high level Greyhawk, I'm sure he won't have a problem with a small organizational improvement.

I think the point was to have rotox take the time to actually identify things not easily diserned

Quote:
1: Dagger with weak alteration
Leather gloves with medium alteration

ignore the dagger but cast identify on gloves

[quote]2: Dagger with weak alteration
Ring with : weak alteration
weak alteration
strong evocation
Potions: blue syrup
cloudy brown
clear with white flecks[/quote

ignore dagger
identify ring
ignore potions

Quote:
3: Dagger with medium alteration
Potions: yellow syrup
cloudy red
opaque orange
opaque red
cloudy green
dark blue syrup
Ring with weak abjuration
Staff with medium alteration
Wand with: medium evocation
strong alteration
command word: krovashar

ignore dagger and potions
I assume abjuration is the normal for protection rings? if not identify
Identify wand, funny to have the word but not the effect

I did go through the process of identifying the items, but had spectaculary bad luck with the dice rolls, so this is why some things have more comment s than others.
