I have a plastic water-gun that could easily be mistaken for a real Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum revolver. It has an 8" barrel (Dirty Harry's was 6.5"). Grip is brown plastic; the rest of the gun is black. Overall length is 14".

Would make a great toy. I would have loved it as a kid. Free.
