As I set a trap for them, lasts 9 hours if not tripped, I've used some of my higher spells and the girl is hurt/craig used some of his healing, I propose we head down the river and camp out for rest and recovery of at least a couple spells.

We are assuming there are more in there - a wise assumption.
How quick can you recover the tentacles spell? You should be at full strength.
I agree that we should withdraw a bit and rest. We should return before your trap expires and try to lure them out.
We could use smoke/cloudkill/stinking cloud to encourage them out of hiding. We could decapitate the bodies of the ones we fought and hurl severed heads down the opening - I hear Illurath is good at throwing things that size. We could cast a taunt spell just past the cave entrance.
If nothing comes out... We should detect evil at the entrance to determine if there may be others inside. I can cast Locate animals or plants to get a feel for what is below (assumes snakemen are animals). If anyone can summon a monster - we could send that in first.
We should then enter cautiously/invisibly. Have the goat ready. This time we can declare "weapons free" - It is ok to destroy the village.
