If we intend on settling or farming out occupancy to another group we need to clean up our mess.

1. Plug the hole we made with ruble, concrete and 2 sections of metal plates,(just so no one else does the same thing)

2. install a windmill and pump and come back in 6 months when its mostly dry.

3. use destroy water to finish drying it out

4. Carrow animates a few of the bodies and uses them to carry out all the other corpses and damaged materials from the tunnels

5. Back fill and cement in those portions of the tunnels within 100ft of the shore line.

6. Raze remaining damaged buildings

7. Repair ramparts if needed

8. /Build a few defensible buildings and farm out a vassal lordship-
- one of you guys marries up and brings in some fresh blood who have their own people
- one of us decides to make that their new home
- perhaps Ulthor would build his castle there instead of Cirdastan , mind you I'd his troops on our walls.
- We promised orcs bane/Knights of Luna land and a base of their own. while I think it should be to our west or south west, they might decide for a place to rest rather than a place to defend.

The other choice is raze it all as we can't leave it empty for the Pomarj to repopulate.

Personally I'd still like to see friendly forces in Cantona and New Parish in an attempt to make land passage to the north safe.

We have a similar but easier issue with New parish. Personal I'm thinking we repair and reconsecrate the temple at new Parish, build a small fort and settle 20 volunteers, 1 of Cirda's priests and our fresh Giant friends. Any force large enough to threaten even a small fort would not likely get by our scouts.

As this was the most relevant post to what we had decided to do next I'm just bringing it everyone's attention again.

I meant to ask Saturday, have all the repairs, if needed, to Cirdastan been made?

Do we have a map of Cantona?

No actual damage was done to Cirdistan other than large orc blood stains and scorch marks on the putting green.

We are within a season of completing the city walls and then labour will be freed up for Ulthor to begin his keep/castle/religious order which once built will draw in another bunch of soldiers. I need approval from the party to decide where Ulthor can build or the DM has to decide.

I'm thinking he should build in the valley between the city and the hill where Cirda's temple and Rilds eventual castle will sit. A later short wall between the 3 points and perhaps someone else's keep at the shore will enclose a pretty damn big area.

there may be a rough map in the pile, I'll have to check. If we are moving in Jonathan will have to generate something a little more accurate.

Thanks for that.

Where is the hill Carrow is going to plant his wood?

A rough map of Cantona would help.

Also, I don't think I'm allowed to animate the dead.

well someone can because we used a few zombies as a distraction during one of our orc attacks.

I'm not entirely sure of the direction but 2 miles to the south of the city/river is a wide hill, where the temple is build and eventually rilds castle will stand facting the town on the close side of said hill.
really any spot on the other side of the hill is yours to grab, I need to bring you the maps one thurs so we can have a little look.

I'll sort my stuff this week and see if I have the Cantona map..

The zombies must have been me then. It has been awhile. I'll check my notes.

Well the DM and I have to go over Carrow's trip to Selene, the contacts made, the trees and other plants gathered, and then we can pick a good location. I know Carrow offered the area as a place of respite, and possible settlement (an eleven ranger from Selene, and possibly a druid also offered assistance to establishing my wood). Also, you and I discussed the hill would be perfect for bracken and such--it would enable me to cast a number of spells. Did the hill overlook a road, and perhaps a small stream ran through it or near it?

A copy of your map would be useful. I think I showed you a mapping program I can use to produce hex or grid maps with terrain features. It's something I could post.

Carrow also offered to plant trees and the like in the town and other areas, and help with the crops.

Lots of work to do.
