Interesting that until the 13 century we could only isolate 7 metals in usable quantities ,
(gold, silver, copper,
mercury, tin , iron and lead
, )
by 1800 we had only added Tin Platinum Antimony Bismuth Zinc Arsenic to this list with a few others that could only be reproduced in small lab samples

Cobalt, Nickel, Manganese, Molybdenum, Tungsten, Tellurium, Beryllium
, Chromium, Uranium, Zirconium and Yttrium
