| I will try and play this Sunday. I'm not sure if I can last the whole session, but I will try.
7:00 p.m., correct?

| I will have to say no to this Sunday. I may be back in time to play but, I doubt it.
If I can make it I will but, officially, I'm a no.

| A clarification about my availability to play: I won't know till Sunday how well I feel. I will try and play, but things change day to day. I'll try and log on this board as soon as I can Sunday and let you all know, or I can hop on Skype and see how things go. | |

| As Paul becomes less certain it would seem that I become more certain. They are calling for an inch of rain tonight and Sunday. It looks like I can play.
It's still up to Mopar... (envisioning the standard western situation with some one whistling and a tumbleweed blowing past)

| 2 is good doable, 3 is better , consider Paul a bonus player who'll show at the last minute if available, we can't consider him in the equation | |

| Crisp
I like my coffee crisp,
jonathan doesnt do coffee, Jennifer doesnt do normal coffee just those fancy things and she has issues about which fancy thing from which store so totally pointless to even try I don't even bother! ,
Willy I believe is milk/creme only. Mines decaf cream sugar.

| Okay, I'm going to try and play. Hopefully I can last the whole session.
Steve: It varies each day, and every few hours. Thanks for asking.
Talk to you all soon.

| Jonathan works into the evenings on sat but he will be here on sunday for his dad's birthday, so I suspect its then or not at all.
of course there is a whole bunch of mechanics I can grill him about or we can play short. If Pauls around his celene stuff could be remotely while I sulk in the corner.
On another related issue to our current dilema I've been pushing most of the towns business but I need to know if The NPCs have done anything with their time and money with the exception of Libram's brothel. I've tried not to order other players or NPCs around but it would appear that no additional planning has been done by any NPC
Surely a priest with a town of his own would have built a temple and brought in a lower priest to mind it while he travels NO? Does Ulthor not love his god?
having the opportunity to found a temple would be the high point in most Clerics lives, that Ulthor has not built is illogical and selfish from a character perspective even more so when he knows the lengths we've gone to attract residents and soldiers, something his temple build would help with.
He also has money and fancy metal, while he might hand over some of either to his order would he not commision something special for himself. We've not had the metal that long so this isnt a real biggie yet but neither would most people sit on it forever.
Likewise a wealthy and intellegent mage like Rotok must have been cooking something up rather than sitting around waiting for the next adventure. Did he commission a personal gate to greyhawk,, a squadon of ground attack bombers, a hot tub with magic fingers or maybe he brought in an alchemist to make potions and narcotics for recrational use, or to help him on spell research
Even Arcturus who's in town all the time with a wage, free time, a place to live, room to work and self interest must have done something over the last 3 years. Sedentary with time to research and or teach he might have a couple magelings. Even 3 years of self study may have advanced in a smidge.
Would Solman done anything spontaniously over the last 3 rather than wait for our request.
I don't expect Jonathan to do the work for like 6 major NPCs and dozens of minor ones but I do need some feedback on what they've done or a level of defined leeway as to what I can decide for them.
Thoughts.. | |

I'll write as soon as I can tomorrow, and either confirm or cancel.

| Paul - I hope you're feeling better.
If Carter has a speaker phone, I could telephone in to the game after my family leaves (too bad we don't have group skype). The folks will be gone by 9pm - Too late to drive up but not too late to call in.
Since we've never attempted playing this way I would say don't count on me as a player (it simply might not work). If you're playing anyway - I can try.
Edit - I just checked skype and as long as one of us has Skype premium we should be able to do group calling. Day passes are available for $5 - not a bad way to find out if it works.

| Methinks we should conduct an experimental group skype session to determine viability. $5 for a day pass is much cheaper than gas $$$. I hope we do play so we can find out. | |

| non visual conference call is free on skype as it was on msm, I believe we used it once for no other purpose than dividing up treasure.
this would work ok for a book keeping kind of session,,, getting our new items sorted out.
setting agenda's and actions for the NPCs
discussing the defence of Cirdastan
actuall roll play
The visuals are just prefered when fighting or adventuring so we can show the remote person a map occassionally, if descriptions are accurate enough and understandable enough this should not matter that much..
If a map was ready ahead of time I could can and mail it.
