| So we've been away from Cirdastan what nearly 2 months? so lets get status report about anything that happened, rumours, skirmishes, possible adventure threads
Players, state any business you have a home., Ideas for things we can do?
Steve or Paul, publish the full treasure list and see if we can divvy without rolling.

| Just a brain dump...
Setup Cantona as an outpost and protectorate of Cirdastan under the vigilant (and often absent) eye of Lord Harcourt
Check in on thieves guild, make sure the local riffraff is not skimming too much or plotting anything to big. Collect my cut of their recent activities.
Attempt to learn spells from the newly acquired spellbook (need list first).
Suspect all MagicUsers are after the wand of lightning. Rolling or trading other picks will be necessary - Harcourt can't cast lightning bolt (or Fireball) except as a fifth level spell - He has been after a wand since his creation... Not that anybody cares.

| Well as I see it there are a number of weapons swords, hammer, short staff, ??? I don't personally need one but would take the staff for one of the girls or a sword for trade or outfitting my personal guard (Stephan) Does Stephan gets a full pick?,, he would want a magic sword if not for his own use to take to grayhawk in exchange for a similar Broadsword. I assume identifying would have happened in transit from the village to grayhawk before we teleported, if so and people would agree to divvy before we got home and agree Stephan could have a sword then we would attempt that trade before we teleport. If he doesn't get a full pick I will use my pick for his sword and buy the staff from whoever picks it, if agreeable. For mages there is the talisman of training ??? and the wand Ideally any of the mages would want both but Paul probably wants a magic sword more and Rotox can already make things go boom so from a logistical view Harcourt probably should get it, while Rotox gets the talisman, of course paul might want the talisman just cause its worth more, he could sell it to someone well heeled like Rotox , pay off his debts and buy a sword Those eyes are not that usable so I have no idea who'd want them. I don't see that Ulthor need or wants anything from the pile unless he can use the hammer?? BUT as religious leader with a herd of new minions joining his church and private army its possible he could want almost anything in the pile to use as gifts and rewards for new followers who take leadership positions. | |

| Well I've made it clear before that we've roll played ourselves into a corner and it only makes sense that we NOT take jobs all over the world when most of us have financial and/or personal stakes on the wild coast. Greyhawk south to the border is an area of interest, the DMZ south through the Pomarj is an area of concern but the DMZ to the river ARGGGGG! is our ZOC and that as always is where we must direct our attention to threats, Running off to look for Beholders in Dyvers border towns is not only foolhardy but by our absence a threat to Cirdastan.
While not productive time Rild would like time to pass so that he may spend time with his good-wife and fill her with seed. , continue the training of troops, personal skill development, restructuring and rebuilding Cantona, allowing Ulthor to build his castle so that his herd of new devotees do not wander off for lack of care.
We were promised a design, location and timeline for Ulthor's camp hindgrinder, We had suggested the duckblind island as one possible location, good defensive location for a Castle but not a particularly good strategic location for the defense of the realm from the Pomarj. We did talk about a fort at Battle Ford, that would put them on the leading edge of the defense and probably out of easy range of support, That valley/plain (Fulda Gap) that funnels all the enemy armies towards us might need a forward castle? As a martial faith I would assume Ulthor would build something that would both strengthen our borders and allow his zealots to gain glory.
We also granted the Knights of Luna land and aid to build a fort of some kind for their own use, perhaps they would like the duckblind, or something up on the lakeshore?

| First of all... Where is everybody??
Next... Role played into a corner indeed... The parties plight reminds me some what of Deep Space 9... the premise assumes a level of exploration and adventure yet we have attached ourselves to something that doesn't move. So what do you do?? Simple... Have a convenient wormhole appear at your doorstep. Jonathan: Make it so!
Lastly... Cantona... At this point I have heard from Rotok and Ulthor that they have no issue with Harcourt taking up the Cantona rebuild project (this was ages ago). I believe Rild is ok with it as well... Steve any objections? Paul - just like Harcourt you aren't a lord of Cirdastan therefore no vote. If everyone is ok with it, we will need to begin infrastructure, settlement, budgeting and defense planning.

| A little note on loot, it would appear Paul deferred to Harcourt's need/want over the frost brand last time we have loot and he does in fact want the wand. Just saying. | |

| True. Paul didn't realize that there was a frostbrand in the pile and picked something else last treasure selection session. When Harcourt's turn came up he picked up the sword. No one else has chimed in on the wand so it's hard to say if the claimants go beyond Paul and I. If it is just Paul and I then maybe we can figure out a trade without rolling for the wand. Paul? | |

| So what is the rule for henchmen, xp, money and treasure wise? Not to thwart you high level mages with dilusions of lightening bolts but Stefan could also use the wand. | |

| Stefan is only henching. Henchman can be thrown a bone from their owner/henchor (Rild in this case - Stefan would be the henchee I think). Henchees do not get a share of treasure. Otherwise someone would essentially be operating 2 player characters in the game. And that is a no-no in this world (or at least so I was told on day 1 of joining the group). Give him a pat on the head, 100gp and a +1 butter knife of scraping. | |

| The wand would be of great use for Carrow--he's no fighter and the more distance the better. Doug, you did all the tests on the sword in a fireplace after I'd cast identify. The ping came back as "awesome," so we all knew what is was before I passed it over for a buckler with the first pick. It hurt, but Carrow should never be on the front lines and that type of weapon was better suited to another. As for Stefan, I thought he took a share of Rild's treasure, and he gets a smaller % of experience rewards. The latter could be an old house rule of mine, but it's down to Jonathan. Damn, now I have to look this up. | |

| Methinks that neither Carrow or Harcourt should ever get in a sword fight. There would be alot of swinging and missing. Harcourt has a sword only for that courageous attacking from behind thing he does so well (and slitting throats of the sleeping and persons under a hold person spell).
It looks like there will be a roll off with both of us on skype - maybe the DM should just flip a coin.

| Stefan is a henchman, and as such gets a half share of experience. (PH pg. 107 1ed.) | |
