ugh. Who is the Animal Justice Canada Legislative Fund ?
The Governor and Company of Adventurers of England trading into Hudson's Bay didn't have to deal with this kind of stuff when they were trading fur.
Canada Goose creates some modest demand for coyote fur, they don't hire trappers. The government polices the industry, this group should lobby Parliament Hill for Legislative changes to the fur industry instead of pursuing a corporation for repeating the claims made by the fur industry.
It always puzzles me that people are bothered more about fur than feathers. One Coyote probably makes 4 to 6 fur trims. It takes a whole mess of geese to stuff a jacket. No one ever asks about the treatment of the geese and their body count is significantly higher.
