Remove the zero from the URL:

http://www.40shared.com/

(I'm not sure how this site can remain viable but I don't want to risk it by drawing some "intellectual property"-seeking webbot's attention.)

"I'm not sure how this site can remain viable "

are you expecting this site to fold?

Wizards of the Coast might agitate against the site if the company knew about it, based on how jealously they have historically guard against this sort of thing (ask Jonathan). Plus, I've seen several "offshore" free movie/TV sites that didn't last very long.

Thepiratebay (a torrent site) has repelled all boarding attempts thus far, however. Good for them, I say. (Lest you think I'm a thief, I have rejected the concept of intellectual property since I was persuaded by Kinsella's article "In Defense of Napster and Against the Second Homesteading Rule".)

Actually, there are a fair amount of these file-storing sites around. If someone complains about copyrighted material (with proof), then the site owner will delete the offending files, but all the poster has to do is find another file storage site. It's a losing battle, IMO.
