Paul, why can't you outfit a vehicle that you could drive with hand controls? You'd need a way to exit/enter it, of course, but this seems like a solvable problem.

I can suffer through if I have to, windows open, pills. bringing my own chair that's dander free but can you do web cam for paul?

I don't think Paul will be getting a job, buying and modifying a van or getting his license again before Sunday.

Ps Gardener closed all weekend in case doug tries to use that route.

Kubera, unfortunately, summed things up rather well. Now I'm depressed, I'll add that if I had somewhere to go and things to do, I'd consider it. Parking is another problem--the waiting list in my building is long, and parking in winter is a nightmare. Getting in and out is easy. One day, maybe....

Another option... I am cat free and my wife has agreed to let us play here as a test of if we keep her up. If there is issue we can retreat to my enclosed front porch. I have a bbq and a bar fridge at the avail... I have a lap top and a wifi connection. I am on Skype - it works.

I don't mind traveling but am opening the option of Chez Wilhelm(ina)...

Let me know so I can clean up a bit.

Just for the record Welhelm also has a cat issue but as I get away with hosting the vast majority of times I'll leave it the rest of you, so fight it out.

You should man cave you garage for such occassions, we could play out their and not bother Gobby.

And I'm not going out of my way to arrange a weakly doctors appointment and pay for alergy shots over a 2 or 3 year period so I can occassionaly tolerate vermin. Cost/hassle/benefit analysis says no

This is the reason I am cat free... I will not get shots either.

I do not have a cot but, you could bring your cot/thermarest and a sleep bag.

I could easily drop a table into the garage at a moments notice.

Wilhelm's place is about the same distance from me as kubera's. The main advantage of meeting there vis-a-vis travel time would be to spare Wilhelm the drive.

We will play at my place tomorrow evening. We will start at 5pm and will order in food (there is a great pizza place in the hood). I will pm everyone the coordinates.

What time do you think we'll wrap up? The usual time or later?

How quickly things change....

I've run into a snag with playing here... I need to pull that option off the table. I'm still ok to play and will travel to Steve's or Carter's.

Is it confirmed that we can play earlier (ie 5pm)??? Please let me know where I am going.

My guess is we will wrap up at the usual time but may keep playing til midnight.

Carter's, because there'd be 2 remote players if we were here--and I'm not sure we want or can handle that.

For wrap-up time, it'll be around 7 for me. I'm in a weird situation re. picking up someone at the airport tonight (they didn't inform me of their arrival time, so until yesterday, I didn't know if I was available today).
