Some short stop-motion films.  Very surreal, and quite funny.

Carter: I think the boys would get a kick out of these.

Some notable films I've recently seen:

Jack the Giant Slayer (2013): quite good; giants are realistic (8/10).
The Hill (1965), starring Sean Connery, dir. by Sidney Lumet. Intense prison drama with hyper real cinematography (8.5/10).
Solomon Kane (2009): D&D-like, set in Elizabethan England. Lots of melee combat in torch-lighted great halls (6/10).
