| Paul is in St Michaels right now but could be home by then I guess,, but I suggest the game hinges on SL availability. | |

| Five minutes ago . . .
Heather: did you get my text about Jonathan? Me: No (wondering how I missed it). Heather shows me the text about J's phone call with ASAP plea. Me (frantically scrambling to get to forum): Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.

| Protip: set the calendar on your phone for a recurring event, say once every four weeks, starting on the third Monday of a particular month. Then when it goes off, go to the forum and see if there is a game pending. If there is a game, then you can decide whether or not you're available, instead of waiting until the last minute to inform everyone else. | |

| Yes, I should do something like that.
As for you guys:
Except for the deep summer and unplanned illness, I am always available to play. And I have stated this before.
In the midst of summer, I am at the cottage every second or third weekend, on average. Unfortunately, the decision to drive up there is typically made at the last minute, due to weather considerations and my sister's oft-changing/oxymoronic plans.

| Understood and that's what we often go on when we have quorum established early and the extra person showing up is just gravy, but as the assumption is we won't play with only 2 players and Paul was definately a no show I'm reluctant to miss out on a entire weekend of debauching for the mere potential of 5 hours of game. Of course if we had 1 more player reaching quorum would be easier and this issue would come up less often. I don't have that active a social life and I really loath telling someone I can't do something on the chance of a game, I usally put game first but when it's wed or thursday already and I'm turning down other things I might ba able to do i get a little anxious waiting for confirmation and down right grumpy when it falls through. IN this case Jenn also had plans and without knowing for sure on Thursday she couldn't cement the baby sitter which was required for both of us to achieve our goal. PM me your cell and I can text you a reminder and/or my specific requirements for a particular date in the future. | |
